SLEEP APNOEA APPLIANCES & SPLINTS
If your partner complains of your snoring preventing them from a good night’s rest, it might be an early sign of sleep apnoea. This condition must be treated as it can lead to an increased risk of other health problems including high blood pressure or stroke. At Chester Dental we can customise an oral sleep appliance to help you and your partner get a good night’s rest or refer you to a sleep physician to perform a sleep study. If you suffer from night-time grinding, splints can be used to protect your teeth from wear. Splints are customised mouthguards used during sleep that minimise the stresses placed on your teeth to keep them healthier for longer.
